Shaw Auditorium
The Shaw Auditorium is home to HKUST's cultural activities and a landmark for large scale events, providing flexibilities and possibilities to create a vibrant arts and cultural scene at the University.
As a multi-purpose auditorium with a seating capacity of around 800 audience, the venue can be used to host different kinds of events such as concerts, theater and dance performances, screenings, lectures, and ceremonies. There are also supporting facilities offering space for seminars, exhibitions, rehearsals, small-scale performances, and gatherings both indoors and outdoors.

SPORTS DEVELOPMENT
Your physical health matters
Take a break from your academic work and relax your mind by playing sports. We have a large variety of sports teams and clubs where you can meet new friends, develop new interests, and enhance your resilience and teamwork.
A good variety of diversified sports courses and events will be offered for you to start your healthy and wealthy journey at HKUST.
Currently, there are over 30 sports clubs and teams in HKUST that you can join. Enhance your sports skills, sportsmanship, perseverance and teamwork by joining the sports group that meets your interest!
Each year, the Sports Association organizes the Intramural Sports Competitions with sports clubs in HKUST. This event aims to cultivate a sporting culture and a sense of belonging for students at HKUST.

GLOBAL EXPERIENCE
HKUST is a diverse community where you can experience global cultures through learning on campus or exploring places out of Hong Kong.
