Welcome to become a member of the School of Science (SSCI).

 

To prepare you for the BSc curriculum in the School of Science, School Orientation & Welcome are COMPULSORY to all new students. These sessions offer important information for you to plan your academic study. Faculty members, Student Advising Officers and Peer Mentors will be there to assist you. Absence from any session might affect your future study progress.

2. COLLECT STUDENT CARD

Student Card will be issued only to students who have completed program registration. The collection will be arranged from Mid-Aug onwards.

Before arriving on campus, students should ensure that their photos with the required specifications being uploaded in advance.

3. ACADEMIC ADVISING AND COURSE SELECTION (COMPULSORY)

All new Science students will receive an email invitation to participate in a designated advising session.
Students who fail to attend this session will have lower priority in choosing Science courses.

4. MEET WITH YOUR PEER MENTOR (COMPULSORY)

Going to university is a big change academically and socially. A senior peer mentor will meet with you in the above period to share their experience and essential tips to help you make this transition easier. You also have a chance to know other first year students through meeting your peer mentor.
